If the client is a minor, the involvement of the parent or guardian is required in the intake process

TASC accepts individuals who are covered under Ohio's Medicaid Program from any of Ohio's 88 counties

Grant money is available to pay for services provided by TASC, the only requirement is to have legal involvement and live within our agency's six county catchment area
Intervention
Intervention is provided to identify the existence of any substance abuse problems and subsequent needed services.
Case Management
Case Management services are provided by our staff to assist and support individuals in gaining access to medical, social, educational and other services essential to meeting basic human needs.
Group Counseling
Qualified TASC clinicians use their expertise to assist individuals in a group setting to achieve their unique treatment objectives.
Intensive Outpatient
TASC provides a primary treatment program for nine or more contact hours per week in a structured program or six hours per week for adolescents.
Assessment
Assessment services are provided by our qualified staff members who evaluate individuals to determine the nature and extent of his/her possible problem with substances.
Individual Counseling
One-on-one counseling skills and techniques are used by qualified clinicians to assist individuals in achieving their unique treatment objectives.
Drug Testing
Urinalysis testing is used to determine the presence of alcohol and/or other drugs either by a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified laboratory or by urine dip screen.
Transportation
TASC has transportation services available for those who don't have access to their own form of transportation.
Choose Wise Program
What is it?

Choose Wise is a TASC program is brought to Athens County in partnership with the Athens Municipal Court. This program is primarily for first time offenders relating to alcohol and marijuana use.
When is it?

The program is typically 4 P.M. - 8 P.M. on every third Thursday of each month.
Where is it?

This program is located at our Athens Office at 86 Columbus Road, Suite 103 A, Athens, OH 45701.
How do you register?

Call the TASC office at (740) 594-2276 to register.
How much is it?

The program fee is $75.
-
If you bring a money order (made out to "TASC of Southeast Ohio"), there are no extra fees.

If you pay online, there is an additional $5 convenience fee.

The program fee must be paid in advance.
*No refunds unless proof of emergency.

A complimentary meal of pizza and water will be provided to all participants. Please bring any alternatives that you might prefer instead.

You must complete the entire four hour program, no early dismissal, to receive your certificate of successful completion.
How to Get a Money Order
Where can you get a money order?

Banks and credit unions: Any financial institution can usually provide money orders.

The U.S. Postal Service: You can visit any post office location to get a money order.

Drug stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores: Many of these stores offer money orders at their customer service desks.

Check cashing stores: You can get a money order from any store that offers check cashing or money services.
What can you pay with?

You can pay for a money order with cash, a debit card, or a traveler's check. You cannot pay with a credit card.
Make sure you:

Bring enough money to pay for the money order, including fees.

Keep your receipt to track the money order.

Fill out the money order at the counter with a retail associate.

To make a money order valid, you'll need to sign it. The signature line is usually on the front of the money order near the bottom.

You'll also need to fill in the payee's name, your address, and the account or order number.
